My Training

In 2002, I became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and went through the rigorous training and Leadership programs at the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), a renowned coaching school accredited by the International Coaches Federation.

In 2008, I was admitted to Hawthorn University’s doctoral program in Holistic Nutrition Education and completed pre-doctoral coursework.

I received my training as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program.

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative health coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.

My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

This depth of education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health.

Additionally, I have been passionate about holistic health, nutrition, longevity and supplements for decades. Nutrition is a fledging science. And, it’s the only science that produces diametrically opposed theories, all of which have solid research to back them up. Hence, I read extensively about all these areas and continue to educate myself as new theories emerge.

Drawing on these skills, my knowledge of nutrition and different dietary theories, and my personal life experience, I work with you to design and implement changes personalized for your body, your lifestyle and your goals – changes that produce real and lasting results.

Note: I am not a doctor, nor a dietician. I am passionate about holistic health and have been researching and experimenting with food, supplements and dietary theories for over 30 years. I do not make any claims that any recommendations or products I offer are a cure for cancer or other diseases. However, extensive research has been done by countless health professionals and scientists, all of whom agree, that an abundance of whole, plant-based foods can make a significant difference in the health and well being of our bodies.
